There's something about the Fuji X-Pro1

I have been a Nikon shooter ever since I picked up a camera after years of separation from photography. I did photograph a lot in my teens, I regularly blew my allowance away printing photos in the film era until I ended up forsaking the hobby when I started blow my allowance away on fuel for the motorcycle. After several years shooting Nikon, I was driven by curiosity into buying a Fujifilm X-Pro1 at a time when second hand perfect units were available at bargain prices. I have yet to buy some Fuji glass, though, so I use the X-pro1 with my Nikon lenses thanks to a Fotodiox adapter. Most of my photographs are still taken with my Nikons - I would say over 90% - but I do enjoy shooting with the Fuji and it is the need for manual focusing the Nikon lenses that stops me from using it more. However, sometimes, my little X-Pro1 does magic with the colours, straight out of the camera in RAF format. This photograph was shot with a Nikon AF-S 85mm f1.8G but I must get a couple of Fuji lenses... Fuji has some wonderful little lenses that actually focus automatically (imagine that!)... which is handy when the model does not feel very much like cooperating.
